While you are waiting for this feature, you can use regular search engines.
Most allow you to tailor your search to both include & exclude items.
Tried this just now with, for ex, with Google and "eggplant recipe food52 -milk -cheese" and got lots of interesting results.
Use a minus sign and the items you want to exclude, with no spaces.
