Left salmon out of fridge overnight. Is it safe?

I wanted to defrost a piece of salmon in the evening, but I left it out overnight. I baked it this morning and put it in the fridge. Is it safe to eat?

Any food left out for more than a few hours goes in the trash. When in doubt, throw it out!
