I accidentally added 3 tsp of baking soda when a recipe called for 1/2 powder, 1/2 soda. Will my chocolate cake be edible?

I really don't want to rebake. It seemed to come out of the oven okay. I just don't want it to be inedible.

Ingredients include
Cocoa powder
Sugar
Flour
Vanilla extract
Baking powder/soda
Boiling water
Milk
Vegetable oil
Salt

But you might taste some of the baking soda in the cake.

If it didn't collapse, you should be fine. Try, if you can, to trim off a tiny bit and try it.
