I make a lot of homemade nut butter. When I get to the bottom of the jar, the last 1/4 is very salty. Any idea what causes this? The top 3/4 or so of the recipe is fine. How can I prevent this with the next batch?

Don't know the cause. But if this "salt dropping to the bottom quarter" is consistent, maybe just omit the salt from the nut butter & add to taste when serving.
