Different type of grape. Golden raisins are dried green grapes; dark raisins are dried red grapes

Everything you ever wanted to know about raisins!
Golden raisins are also treated with sulfur dioxide to retain their color.

raisins in America are too boring! In India we used to get a whole range of raisins, size, colour, seeds/seedless, etc. and I understand central Asia is even better! Think of all those different grapes out there, yes, they do make different raisins!
