Can I make yeast doughnut by cold fermentation method?

Next time I would try it by stuffing marshmallow into it. I hope it will work.

I made some fresh batch of doughnut holes. Just stuffed it with 1 or 2 little sugar balls, rolled it into ball shape and fried it. It was so tempting. Sugar melted inside, golden brown from outside and of course it was soft and fluffy :-)
Feeling like I made fusion of GULAB JAMUN (Indian donut) and Doughnut.
