Asparagus in the crockpot

I have never done it this way and wanted to add it to a chicken and potatoes recipe that I love but the recipe doesn’t call for it. What I have looked up has been all over the place, anywhere from 15 minutes to 2 hours! Big difference! Anyway, how do I know how long to cook asparagus in the crockpot?

Asparagus takes almost no time to cook. Even the 15 minutes you mentioned seems too long. I would cook the asparagus from fresh just before you're ready to serve.

I wouldn't do it. I'd prepare it separately in whatever way you like best & add it when you serve.
