Recipe calls for 2 cupsychological tomatillo pulp. I can't find canned but have fresh. What do I do?

I don't know what cupsychological means, unless it's that spellcheck has gone mad, but tomatillos can either be pureed whole or roasted first- I prefer the flavor of roasted in most situations, but unless your recipe specifies it they should probably be pureed raw, or perhaps with a short sautee- halved, they will soften up quite quickly, and of course if they were canned they would be cooked to some extent.
