Substitute Scotch for Bourbon in pecan pie?

I don't know much about liquor! Will taste good with Scotch?

Hey, Samantha! You can substitute, but Bourbon tastes sweeter than Scotch, so plan accordingly!

Bourbon & pecans are southern combo.
If you go with scotch, consider adapting to UK nut (chestnut hazelnut or walnut), Lyle's golden syrup etc.
Maybe even an oat crust or oat crumble garnish.

It'll taste fine, but dark rum would be better if you have it.
