The Rao's meatballs look awesome but my wife won't let me use veal. How can I best adapt this recipe with no veal?

They ARE awesome!!! I don't eat veal either, so I make with 50/50 ground beef and pork as Amanda suggested. Everything else in the recipe remains the same. Lots of compliments. These also freeze wonderfully after they are cooked. I freeze loose, then portion out and seal in a vacuum bag (aka FoodSaver).

I recommend combining ground beef and ground pork -- a 50:50 ratio.
