Any idea why my whole cranberry sauce is grainy? (It’s not undisolved sugar!)
It has a mealy texture—I used a simple 12 oz berries/1 cup sugar/water/orange zest recipe.

Did you leave the skins and seeds in? I've read in a few forums that that can make the sauce a bit grainy: https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20091123204808AA2qxRr I hope that helps and happy Thanksgiving!
