I bought preserved lemons and they drained the brine — should I make a brine to store them in?

I bought some preserved lemons from Sahadi's in New York (from their bulk olive/pickles/etc), and they drained the brine to pack them up. What's the best way to store these longer term — should I make a brine to store them in, or will they still last a while without? If brining, any recommendations on ratio?

Yes make a brine to store them in.
My recipes from scratch give salt to lemon juice ratios of 1 to 2 (salt/juice) to 1 to 8 ( salt /juice).
Since your lemons are already preserved and salted; I'd go between those, say 1 to 4 (1/4 c salt to 1 cup fresh lemon juice).
PS I think the store did you a disservice.
