Missing baking soda

Hi,

I just came across this recipe and would love to make, but noticed there is no baking soda amount listed in ingredients but it is included in the process of making the cake. Could you let me know the amount that is needed, if possible?

Thank you,
Jason

I made this cake today and it turned out amazing. I prefer fresh cream so I made my own frosting but the cake it self was WOW. All of us couldn't stop eating it. So moist and delicious.

Hi Jason!
This recipe calls for ½ tsp of baking soda. Enjoy!

Hopefully the author will chime in to let you know. But in case that doesn't happen- may I suggest you start with 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda. Soda is about 4 times more powerful than baking powder, and will react with the sour cream to leaven. The baking powder provides additional leavening without requiring additional acid.
