What size/type Avocado is used in thi recipe??

Since there is no measure for the avocado, are we talking Haas or the larger Florida kind?
Also, will it benefit by chilling before eating? Thanks!

I agree, use the smaller, black Haas avocados. The larger shiny green ones can sometimes be stringy and sometimes more watery.

I have made a similar recipe (from foodies tv show around 2009) & it used the smaller avocados, average 200g.
So for 2 avocados in this recipe, use 400g or 14 oz total.
Yes, better if chilled.
