silver palate apple walnut cake

i just made this cake for someone. i glazed only half of it since she wanted to see if she preferred it w or w/o glaze. she preferred w/o. i'm going to make it for 2 other people and do the same. if both agree to forego the glaze, i will no longer add the glaze.

if u've had the cake and prefer it w or w/o, i'd like to know. Tx

Prefer with glaze. This has been a favorite recipe for years! I use some of the glaze on the just baked cake and the rest I heat up a bit and put over a slice of cake for breakfast the next day or whenever. For me, this cake and the glaze get better on day 2 or 3.
