Can the Bodega glasses be placed in a preheated oven? I am thinking of using them as ramekins to make a plum clafouis.

The glasses are tempered glass, but wasn't sure if they would be strong enough for this use. Please advise.

Hi Peggy! I would refrain from using these in the oven, as they weren't designed for that. Thanks for checking in with us!

I'm not sure I would be brave enough to bake anything in glasses. I have, however, baked crème brûlée and pots de crème in shallow coffee cups and even half-pint Mason jars. Clafoutis falls into a similar category, so that's the direction I would suggest.
