This is a very protein and calorie rich dish, for example:
* An appetizer or snack portion (1/16 of recipe or about 1 cup) will provide about 20 grams of protein for an adult, approx one-third daily needs.
* A double size portion, two cups or 1/8 the recipe, will seem more like a meal, and provide about 2/3 RDA.
You might want to balance your menus the day you serve it with cooked vegetables, salads, fish or lean meat, fruit dessert instead of baked dessert.
