Can I use this recipe without nuts

In the text before recipe it says nuts can be omitted altogether or swapped out but in the questions it says to use a different recipe without nuts? So can I do it with out nuts?

Hi Jenna, good catch! You can work off of this recipe as the master for any variations you want to try. Without nuts, the batter might be a little thinner (and the cookies slightly flatter), but K.M. in the recipe comments has a great idea: she cuts down by one egg white to compensate.
