Are these still worth it if not eaten immediately?

I was getting set to try these, but was taken aback to notice "serve immediately" at the end, which is not something I am ever in a position to do with cookies (besides serving one or two to myself). I'm sure they'll still be _edible_ after refrigeration, but will it make a significant difference?
