Can I add chocolate to this recipe instead of cacao nibs? Thanks so much food52 community!

Didn't see cacao nibs listed in the ingredient list or the instructions, perhaps it was something a reviewer mentioned. Anyway, I think you could add chocolate chips, but I would add after baking and completely cooling, otherwise I think the chocolate would melt.
