You can but the final product will not be the same as a cake made with wheat flour. Baked goods made with almond flour tend to be very dense. If you are ok with that, give it a try and let us know how it worked out (or not).
Hi - thank you for your response. I did make it with almond flower and it was delicious but was like ‘pudding’ in the middle and drier around the perimeter. I also needed to bake longer than the suggested time. I am sure my cake was not like the one written about but when you can’t eat gluten this is a great substitute.
