Recipes or ideas for a goat shank?

Like many of you I’m sure, I’m slowly working my way through a freezer full of farmers’ market purchases.

A while ago, I bought a goat shank, although Im not sure what to do with it. I’m assuming a braise, but I’d love some tips. I’d rather not do a curry/curry spices, but am otherwise open.

Hi! I think if you were to braise this for 2+ hours (350F oven) in a mixture of crushed tomatoes, plus ground cumin, diced onions, dried and/or fresh chopped chiles, olive oil, and a splash of lemon juice or vinegar, then shred the meat after it braises, you could make some great goat shank tacos!
