Instant yeast instead of active dry yeast

My recipe calls for 1 pk of active dry yeast and I have a 1 lb pk of instant yeast. How much do I use.

I bake a lot of yeast bread using instant yeast, and typically use 1/2 teaspoon per cup of flour.

1 & 3/4 teaspoon. You need 0.75 times as much instant yeast compared to active dry.
