Noodle/ spaghetti round cutter

I’m looking to purchase a kitchenaid spaghetti cutter but I’m unsure if the pasta is square or round when it goes through, I’m looking at atlas 150 attachments also. Do I have to get an extruder to get round pasta ? These things aren’t cheap so I’d like to invest properly

You'll probably see more varieties of attachments online, and then may be able to check some out in person.
Yes, as far as I know, you'll need to get an extruder - not just a roller - to make round pasta.
