I am inclined to say "No". You can't just swap out the AP flour with GF flour. You will need to add ingredient(s) to provide the structure that would have come from the gluten in AP flour. You may need to adjust the amount of water. Overall, it would be a different recipe with different instructions. I would advise using a recipe designed to be gluten free.
