I started the planting early with broad beans, peas, sweet peas, poppies, nasturtiums, radishes, nigella. They are all sprouting in the cold frame.
Today I will be pricking out the radishes and transplanting them. I will be planting one third of the peas, broad beans and flowers in my own garden, the rest will be picked up and planted in my daughters gardens.
Last week I planted leeks, artichoke, fennel, Tuscan salad mix, sunflowers, calendula, cosmos seeds. I also started my dahlia tubers indoors in pots to get a head start on the blooming season. I have not started to chit the seed potatoes but week probably get around to that soon.
When it gets warmer I have tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, beans, and of course pumpkins for the grandkids ready to sow.

I am blessed to have a garden, it is not only a source of fresh food and beauty for my family, friends and neighbours but also my therapy and meditation.

So inspiring, Wendy! Sounds like a dream garden—you must really have a green thumb. And I'm sure your family, friends, and neighbors are very grateful!

Probably will plant parsley, cilantro, Thai basil, and lemongrass. For vegetables, tomatoes, peppers, and potatoes.

Such a lovely selection, so nice to have beautiful herbs on hand to throw in a dish!
