Has anyone tried a slightly lighter version?
I was thinking of whole milk for the cream and feta for part of the ricotta.

The whole milk should work.
However, feta has more of both fat and calories than ricotta.
If you want to make the dish lighter in fat and/or calories, maybe use a light cottage cheese to replace some or all of the ricotta.
