Recipes cannot be sorted by anything other than "Relevance"

Question

When trying to sort a page of recipes (such as food52.com/recipes/dinner) it doesn't matter which sort I select, it always falls back to "Relevance." This has made me use the site way less for getting ideas for dinners. See attached photo for example.
