1 1/2 lbs. of flour??? In ingredients

That can't be right. Maybe one and a half cups perhaps

Antonia, thanks for your interest in my latest cooking project. I wasn't entirely clear. I'm using the crust and lemon pastry cream from the roasted strawberry recipe which I've eaten and they are both A+. I'm not roasting the blueberries, just arranging them on top like this recipe.

Whoa, I really did get that wrong, Stan. I appreciate your recommendation of the crust and pastry cream in the roasted strawberry sumac recipe. Summer fruit tarts made that way are delightful, aren't they? ;o)

Hmmm. The 5 eggs seem wrong, too. From what I can tell, this recipe has not been tested or reviewed, so it’s hard to know if it’s a typo. You might want to message the writer if this recipe really appeals to you. Or you could look for another recipe. Here’s the winner of the “Your best fruit tart” contest.

I don't know how to message a recipe writer Drbabs. If you knownfeel free to let me know.
I'm making a roasted strawberry sumac tart from Food52 but I don't like the taste of roasted strawberries so I'm switching out the strawberries for blueberries and this topping design looks good.

You could (and should) use whatever pie crust dough you like for this. The ratios are all wrong in the ingredients listed. I would use a lot more blueberries / topping than this recipe calls for.

I think your idea of using a sweet custard under the fruit, where you're using sumac -- which is almost sour -- is a good one. I'll be interested to see what you think of the roasted blueberries + sumac - so unusual! Could be a winner. Let us know how it turns out, please! ;o)
