Question on using a shortbread pan instead of a 9x13

I wanted to make this using a decorative shortbread pan. Can anyone tell me what the approximate thickness of the dough should be?

Not exact, many recipes don't specify a width, those that do suggest 3/8 or half an inch.
So make them to taste, but watch baking time in either case to make sure they're done (thicker) or don't burn (thinner).
