I've never made this, but working with pizza dough that has been refrigerated, I find that cold bread dough is much more difficult to stretch (and otherwise work with) than room temperature dough. Something about the colder temperature makes the gluten stubborn. I would therefore let this Foolproof Strudel Dough come to room temperature before stretching. ;o)
