Is temperature of 325*F correct

The recipe called for an oven temperature of 325*F. It took almost an hour at this temperature to bake in a 9x13 inch pan set in the center as called for in the recipe. The flavor is good but wondering if the oven temperature should be at 350*F.

I think your combination of experience and intuition is probably right.
Have a look at recipes for White Texas Sheet Cake (all recipes, Taste of Home, etc) a bit larger than the one you made (10x15 not 9x13) and they often call for 375F as baking temperature.
Have a look at more reliable sites or authors and maybe find a 9x13 one at 350F.
Or just experiment with that temp next time.
