Pottery dish from Freezer to oven

Can I put a pottery pie dish with raw frozen crust into a hot oven without it cracking? Really want to try this recipe!

It depends. I looked on the Emile Henry website and it said that the plate can go from freezer to oven. You might want to check with the manufacturer. If it's a hand made pottery pie plate, I'd be terrified that it would break.
