Introducing myself, Food52's new Community Editor

Hi gang! This is my first week as Food52’s new Community Editor, and I wanted to introduce myself as you’ll be seeing a lot of me on the Hotline, posing questions and extending invites to gather.

A little bit about me: I’m an omnivore who is trying to cook more healthily (without changing things *too* much for the meat lovers in my house) and I usually shy away from baking that requires real effort. (My go-to Food52 dessert is Bea’s No-Peel Apple Crisp — what’s yours?)

Cooking skills aside, I’m an excellent listener, and I’ll be responding to as many unanswered questions as I can (with expert input from our Food Editor!). I’d love to hear from you outside of Hotline, too — please feel free to reach out any time: [email protected].

Hi Fab! Thank you and a big welcome to you too! The Hotline is a great place to start. Be sure to check the box that says "send me emails about new replies" when you post so you can respond to recent comments (even if it's just to thank someone for answering your question).

Welcome, Nicole! I joined Food52 in 2009, and because of the people I met on Food52, I had ready-made friends when I moved from NY to Austin in 2014. I’m excited to see what you have in store for us to continue and enhance this really great community.
