Bevi, thank you for posting. I'm happy to support and help farmers and the community whenever and wherever needed.

Thank you! That’s so kind

I am asking the Community, not Food52 per se, to donate to the Vermont Community Foundation. Many farmers have lost their crops for the year. That means many of the food manufacturers housed in Vermont do not have ingredients for their manufactured goods. Please consider a donation. Our food industry in Vermont is in dire jeopardy.

Hi Bevi! Thanks so much for thinking of us! In lieu of one-off donations, we’ve taken a more unified approach to our charitable giving. Each year, we select one organization to support together with our community; we then channel all of our efforts toward this organization.

Hi Nicole, I appreciate your response. However I would like to encourage your readers to consider donating to the VT Community Foundation due to the urgency surrounding this disaster.

Thank you.

What organization are you supporting this year?

We decide by year end traditionally! In the past we've supported charities like Feeding American and the Edible Schoolyard Project. Is there a charity you like or donate to?
