This sauce can still work in the gazpacho if you do the following: • for the tomato amount in the soup recipe, use half your spicy sauce and half raw tomatoes (save the Arabist’s for another use). • omit from the gazpacho any hot spicing - black pepper, pepper flakes or sauce, jalapeño chopped up • dilute the spice level in the gazpacho by adding more raw veg and/or some crumbled dry bread.
If you’re reluctant to use the spicy sauce in the soup, use traditional ways to dilute the heat level - add dairy (like milk or cream), fat, carbs.
