Tomato quantity in tomato salad with mint is unclear

When you encounter a confusing set of instructions on the Internet, the first thing to do is to see if they were posted elsewhere. It took me ten seconds to find the recipe on this author's blog:

where the correct amount of 1 1/2 pounds (1.5 lbs.) is listed.

That's an exceptionally generous portion for 4 servings and undoubtedly I would adjust down for my dinner table. Use your best judgment on how much you'd like to serve to your dinner guests based on their appetites.

This type of Internet sleuthing isn't limited to Food52 or even food recipes in general. It is applicable to all types of instructions: knitting, auto repair, Linux system administration, whatever.
