The recipe makes two 3/4 pound (12oz) blocks, 1.5 lbs total. I would look at your tart recipe and see how much puff pastry in weight it calls for.

the recipe for the freeform tomato tart does not indicate the quantity of puff pastry - it just links to the recipe. Seems like way too much pastry for the amount of filling .
