can I use tin foil when baking lasagna

my wife who can't boil water said she will not eat my lasagna if I use tinfoil . I h. but she thinks she knows betterave been cooking for 45 years

I have experienced red sauce “eating” my foil. Now I top with parchment then foil, as Grammy suggests.

Tomato is acidic and can "eat through" aluminum foil (assuming you don't truly mean "tin" foil). You can always place baking parchment directly over the uncooked lasagna, then the foil.

hey Gammy I do mean tin foil before the stopped production I bought 300 roll cause the aluminum stuff doesn't stop the Alien rays Peter
