Should I bake the crust before filling?

I will be using this recipe for a peanut butter pie. I previously used the wafers that have been discontinued. The old crust I made was baked before I added the filling. Should I do the same with this crust? My guess is yes because the pie isn’t baked after the filling has been added. Thanks. Elena

Yes, if the crust doesn't get baked after, bake it before adding the filling. If you need the crust to come up the sides of the pan, it may droop a little during the baking fyi.
