Post-Thanksgiving Notes: Favorite Dishes?

Curious: Did you make or try any new dishes for Thanksgiving this year? What worked well, and would you make it again next year?

I was in Detroit for the holiday and my cousin served a Salted Maple Pie from Sister Pie that was out of this world. I plan to make it soon—and for the TG next year—and we happen to have the recipe: https://food52.com/recipes...

T-day dinner was at my sister's house. Favorite dish: potatoes tossed with rosemary, olive oil, Kinder's Buttery Steakhouse Rub, and topped with parmesan cheese (freshly grated), then baked until tender. It was delicious and will be part of our dinner menu year round.

Less stellar (but still good tasting): Basque burnt cheesecake. I forgot the flour and overbooked it. It was still delicious but I have yet to nail that luscious creamy center. Oh well, next time ;)

Thanks, Halfpint. ;) I knew what you meant! Is this similar to the recipe you used? https://food52.com/recipes/34464-basque-cheesecake

Sorry for the late response.

I used the recipe from Bon Appetit which is similar though created for a 10" springform pan. I should have pulled it when the top was a dark brown but the very jiggly batter made me nervous and second-guess myself.
