Ice Cream is liquid, would not churn as used single instead of heavy cream. Have just put it in the freezer now, could I make something else with this

Making ice and mistakenly used single cream instead of heavy cream. I've tried to churn it but it's completely liquid. I just put it in the freezer now as didn't know what else to do.
Is there another dessert I could make with this or is there a way I can rectify the situation??

I'd take the path of least resistance, turn it into a milkshake or frappé, tally it as a lesson learned, and move on.

Using single instead of heavy cream shouldn't keep it from churning (ice cream/gelatos can have different fat contents), but it might affect the texture after it's churned. Are you sure your bowl was frozen enough? If it's a freezer bowl model, it has to freeze for at least 24 hours before churning, but if you still hear liquid sloshing inside, it's not ready.

So, you could either re-freeze the bowl and try again, or treat it as a custard: pour it over another dessert, or thicken it with some cornstarch and make it into a pudding.
