DIY ice cream bars

Hi F52,

I want to make ice cream bars from scratch, using popsicle molds. My question:

Can I make the bars using the ice cream base from any recipe and pouring directly into the molds, skipping the whole churning part? Or does the ice cream need to be churned then transferred to the molds?

TIA!

I would use a no churn ice cream recipe that are popular right now.

I would use freshly churned ice cream in molds. Base just frozen would be rock hard.
