Adventures in Amazon Dining: My New Focus

After a multi-year absence from 52, I have regained my passion for all-things-food and in a much broader geographical range. Consequently my pantry has vastly expanded and with it, my ability to tweak. [If I had a new moniker, it would be ‘Mad about Tweaking’!]

I’d like to share w/ the Community what I’ve been up to though I don’t consider them new recipes but new tweaks, so I’m starting w/ this post. I would love it if you added any of yours! I'll keep posting mine as well.

Tweaked Taro Mochi Waffles[
Combine and set aside
1.5 cups Trader Joe’s Mochi Waffle Mix
1 T. sweetened Taro powder [like for making drinks], optional
Pinch kosher salt

Combine in mixing bowl and whisk into dry mix.
2 lg.eggs, whisked
½ c. + 1/8 c. water or Lapsang Souchong tea
1/8 c. melted unsalted butter

Add
Zest of 1 rinsed orange
¾ c. medium ground pecans

Make waffles.[i like mine cooked longer so they're more crispy.] Drizzle w/ melted butter
and Grade B maple syrup.

Tastier Malted Milk Balls

Dark chocolate coated malted milk balls
Pomegranate molasses [ sweetened]
Ground roasted unsalted soybeans
Medaglia d’ Oro espresso powder

Put balls out in a flat bottomed plastic container.
Drizzle generously w/ pomegranate molasses. Add lid and shake.
Sprinkle generously with roasted ground soybeans and espresso powder.
Close lid and shake to coat the balls. Add more pomegr. Molasses to increase coverage as desired.

Tweaked Skyr Coffee Yoghurt

Add 2 drops of Frontier Chocolate Extract and stir well
