Looking for a sauce to jazz up grilled pork chops

I have a recipe (originally from Epicurious) for grilled, beer-brined pork chops with a garlic/sage rub that I love, but my husband still finds them a bit bland. I was thinking I would serve this to special guests coming in a few weeks, but now I'm having second thoughts. Could anyone suggest a sauce that would take it up another notch? Thanks.

Not a sauce exactly, but if you happen to have a chutney of any sort hanging about- this is a great place for it. Or if you have an apricot or peach jam- mix that with some apple cider and thicken if you want with a corn starch slurry. Pineapple preserves with a bit of horseradish, thinned down with the cider or vinegar also makes a nice glaze/sauce. Spice up some applesauce with horseradish and pumpkin pie spices, add in some mustard to an apricot or peach jam, or make a cream sauce and add in coarse mustard. Any of these would go well with a beer brined chop.
