Obviously somone 100 years ago figured out how to make it. So I am wondering does anyone know how to make homemade cream cheese. I am not even sure why I want to make it, but it sounds really good.

After all the helpful hints I got about goat cheese, I can point you to this page: http://biology.clc.uc.edu/fankhauser/cheese/cheese.html
There are directions to all sorts of cheese. I'm going to try to make feta next! Good luck!

I love state universities, they are a wonderfully accessible knowledge base for agriculture and food and canning and planting. Here is what Colorado State University has to say about cream cheese, and any soft cheese making, http://www.ext.colostate.edu/pubs/foodnut/09337.html And here is another wonderful site that mzmecz shared in an earlier post that I have bookmarked http://biology.clc.uc.edu/Fankhauser/Cheese/Cheese.html
