Substitute for Sherry in Teriyaki Marinade

I am making a teriyaki marinade. The recipe calls for 2 T of Sherry. I have none on hand. The in-house options for substitutions are dry, white wine or sweet vermouth. The recipe calls for 3 T brown sugar. Which would you use? Incidentally there are 3 T of Brown Sugar in the recipe.

Thank you. Went with the white wine.

I would do dry white white instead of adding more sweetness with the sweet vermouth. The sweet vermouth may alter the brown sugar taste.
