What is the correct ratio of spices for Quatre Epices? I need to put some together this evening for a side dish (Sara's Sweet Potato dish).
Thanks, everyone. ;o)

According to Epicurious:
2 tablespoons (1/8 cup) white peppercorns
1/4 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon (about 12) whole cloves
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

There's a variety of ratios on the Internet, but I choose to trust Gourmet Magazine's version:
1 tablespoon white pepper
Rounded 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon grated nutmeg
