Doughnut hole pancakes

This seemed like a strange recipe when I first saw it in Gourmet Magazine (I think). The donuts seemed like gilding the Lilly. Then I made them for the kids and I was sweetly surprised. I did, however, omit the sugar and salt from the original recipe because the doughnut holes have plenty of that already. —renee tatterson

Ingredients
  • 1 dozen Glazed doughnut holes
  • 2 Eggs
  • 3/4 cup Whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
Directions
  1. Preheat griddle to 375 degrees. Spray w EVOO or brush with melted butter.
  2. Combine all ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth.
  3. Drop 1/4 cup of batter per pancake on hot griddle. Cook for a minute and a half on each side. Remove from griddle and serve immediatley with Nutella and strawberries.
