Author Notes: I love french fries and sweet potato fries are the best. Instead of ketchup I decided a sweet raspberry preserve makes this snack the perfect combination of spicy, salty, and sweet. nieceboo

Serves: 2

  • 1 large sweet potato
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon chile powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  1. Combine all the dry ingredients in a bowl and set aside. Peel the sweet potato and slice to desired thickness and size.
  2. In a bowl mix toss the sweet potatoes in olive oil. Add the dry ingredients and toss with the sweet potatoes.
  3. Spread potatoes in a single layer on a sheet pan. Cook at 375F for 25 minutes or until fork tender and slightly crispy.
  4. Serve with your favorite raspberry preserves. Enjoy!
