Author Notes: I love french fries and sweet potato fries are the best. Instead of ketchup I decided a sweet raspberry preserve makes this snack the perfect combination of spicy, salty, and sweet. —nieceboo
- 1 large sweet potato
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon chile powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne
- 1 tablespoon flour
- Combine all the dry ingredients in a bowl and set aside. Peel the sweet potato and slice to desired thickness and size.
- In a bowl mix toss the sweet potatoes in olive oil. Add the dry ingredients and toss with the sweet potatoes.
- Spread potatoes in a single layer on a sheet pan. Cook at 375F for 25 minutes or until fork tender and slightly crispy.
- Serve with your favorite raspberry preserves. Enjoy!
